I want to thank you for all the help in my obtaining my hoisting license both 1C (100) & 2A (88). I would definitely recommend everybody to take the course. By the time I took the tests I was so comfortable. I will add as you had stated that I went through the book maybe 5 hours a week till test date. You can’t just take course and let book collect dust on the coffee table. Thanks again!
Ron
If you are not able to attend a class you have signed up for, you must cancel 72 hours before the class to be issued a refund, or guaranteed a spot in the next available session. If you cancel after the 72 hour mark, no refund may be issued, however, we will schedule you for a future class, although we cannot guarantee a spot in the next scheduled class session. We do our best to accommodate everyone, however, seating for these circumstances is limited.

If for some reason you don’t pass, you are welcome to take our class again as many times as needed until you pass.

This is a self-help page to help you understand the status of your hoisting application. Every month, the state receives thousands of applications. By simply searching your name on public records, you can gain some information regarding your exam application. The link below will take you to the Department of Public Safety search.
The MA Hoisting License exam is a multiple-choice exam comprised of roughly 40 questions. You must score a 70% or better on the exam to pass, and will see a range of questions from safety on equipment to questions about the state law. Many of the questions are very tricky, and ask detailed questions about state law, so even the most experienced operators find many of these exam questions challenging because they are not familiar with Massachusetts State Law.
One common thing we hear from customers who took a class with another training school is they should have come to us in the first place. At Mass Hoisting Training, we believe in preparing you to succeed, with the most comprehensive training available, Guaranteed. Some training companies offer a refund if you fail.
All hoisting applications must be accompanied by a valid DOT Medical Card. If you don’t have one, don’t worry! We will have a physician on-site the day of the class offering DOT physicals for $100!
Simply arrive 15 minutes early the morning of the class to sign-up with the doctor. During the class, you will be called out to meet with the doctor to perform your physical. You will leave that afternoon with your own laminated DOT medical card!
